Every year in Catalonia in Spain, a Catalan tradition takes place called "Correfoc" which literally translates into "Fire run". A group of individuals dressed as devils and demons light fireworks and dance to the drums of a traditional gralla. Whilst doing so, they run and dance through often narrow streets accompanied by groups of frenzied spectators. The climax of the event is a display of pyrotecnics, fire breathing and music which lasts late into the night.
